To Miss Emily, as her nuptials are edging closer and closer. I can't wait to hear all about the ceremony and reception, look at pictures, and then read all about the wild road trip she and her Sir are planning. If you haven't been reading her site, which is one of my favorites, then you've missed her dainty and wry posts about everything from ostrich feather fans to the generous and sweet gifts bestowed on her by readers (the limonata was my favorite). I wish I had something to give her, but beyond my collection of Diet Coke cans, I'm pretty spent. So here are my wishes, for the best wedding and marriage around.
And to Tracy (And her Sir!), who has only been pregnant for like three weeks but in just a few more weeks, that little bean is going to bumrush this world fists first, I think. You know? I've never heard of babies getting into dance-offs and tagging newspaper kiosks hours out of the womb, but I think this little guy might be down for it. I CANNOT WAIT to hear the tales and see the pictures. Also, if you aren't reading Tracy's site, then we're going to have a long talk in the driveway, before I let you go inside. Roll the windows up so the neighbors don't hear my Angry Voice.
And congratulations to me, for resisting the urge to wear my new wool coat, knee-length, double-breasted and sashed, in ninety degree weather.
omg! you are the best! what a nice surprise! yet again... you crack my shit up! thankyouthankyouthankyou!

Awww! What a sweet blog note! Your site is also one of my favorites. Maybe after I become a "married woman" I'll miraculously overcome my baking ineptitude and be able to use your fantastic recipes.
