i have the same necklace from anthropologie! (except i have the "april" necklace... even though my birthday is in june. i think this necklace may be the reason why i endured so many april fool's days in middle school) i purchased it for myself while christmas shopping for others, so i technically count that as a christmas present (makes my bank account hate me less).
I got the Tartine cookbook for Christmas this year, too... and in a burst of insanity, decided to dive right into the croissants, first. Can't wait to hear what you explore there.
The pralines recipe from Tartine is my favorite praline recipe, yet. They even work out well in our wet, non-optimal candy-making city of Portland. I'm drooling just thinking about them. Oh, and those oatmeal orange currant cookies totally rule, too. Ohh... sugar....

Oh, nice haul! I own and love that same ashtray; it almost makes me want to take up smoking.

Is that the Abstinence Teacher over there? I got it as well - I'm about to go finish it.
Happy New Year!
